The award winning Gospel Musician Solly Mahlangu is set to be in Nairobi on 31st December,2014 at the Kasarani stadium.The acclaimed gospel musician popularly known for his hit song obrigado will be leading a praise experience of it kind in an event expected to witness a huge turn out.
His popular songs include;wahambanati,eh baba pokea sifa among others.The event expected to feature other local artists will focus on bringing a message of Hope, Healing and deliverance to the current generation.

Solly Mahlangu who is also the founder and pastor at Word Praise Christian Center International,has been in ministry for 20 years.According to the official event sponsor Safaricom,the entrance will be an unscratched Safaricom airtime voucher of Ksh 100/-.The event is organised by Mosound Events.

Joyous celebration fans woke up to the news of the sudden passing on of Lihle Sowazi in a tragic road accident on Monday,30th November 2014.Lihle and her colleague drummer Sabu Satsha were returning to Johannesburg from a performance in Kimberley. Sabu,who survived the accident is in a critical condition in hospital.
In a statement released by Joyous Celebration,the road accident is said to have occurred in the early hours of the 30th November 2014.”It is with profound sadness for the Joyous Celebration choir to announce the untimely passing away of one our members,Sowazi,”read the statement.In yet another statement one of the Joyous Celebration founders, Jabu Hlongwane said,”We as the Joyous Celebration choir family are extremely shocked and sadden by the news and would like to send our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family and ask our fans to keep both Satsha and Sowazi’s cousin in their prayers.”
A gifted vocalist and singer,Lihle has featured in Joyous Celebration live recording concerts and has been instrumental in the growth of the choir.Songs performed by Lihle include Ulithemba Lami among others.
A devoted Christian,Lihle was passionate about singing.This has seen her traverse South Africa in a pursuit to impact lives as evident in the outpouring tributes for her fans.
There is no doubt that Lihle would have been part of the JC crew coming to Kenya on 14th December,2014 for a performance at Nairobi’s CITAM Valley Road Church.All the same,this is an event you cannot afford to miss.Tickets sells are underway in preparation for the event.

An update of Joyous Celebration official page indicated that,”The Funeral Service of our beloved sister Lihle Beryl Mbanjwa Sowazi shall be held on Saturday the 6th of December 2014 at Grace Bible Church in Pimville , Soweto at 8am.”
